1992 Topps #957 Chuck Carr

Todays 1992 Topps card is #957 Chuck Carr.

Chuck made his MLB debut in 1990 with the New York Mets. After 2 years with the Mets, he was traded to the St. Louis Cardinals. In November 1992, he was selected in the expansion draft by the Florida Marlins. He had decent success in Florida, leading the NL in stolen bases with 58 in 1993. After playing with them through the 1995 season, he was traded to the Milwaukee Brewers. He spent the 1996 through the first 2 months of the ‘97 season with them before getting signed by the Houston Astros. He finished the season with them, and didn’t appear on any Major League games after that.
Chuck’s first Topps issue was a Marlins card in the 1993 set. He appeared in the 1994 and 1995 Topps sets, and got his sunset card in the 1998 Topps set.
Chuckie is missing cards from the 1990 Topps Traded, 1991 Topps, 1992 Topps, 1992 Topps Traded, 1993 Topps (Cardinals), 1996 Topps (Marlins) , 1996 Topps (Brewers),  and 2 1997 Topps issues (Brewers and Astros). His 1991 Topps, 1992 Topps, 1992 Topps Traded, and 1993 Topps (Cardinals) issues have been done by myself, leaving just the ‘90 Traded, 2 ‘96 Topps, and 2 ‘97 Topps cards left to complete his career Topps run.
Thanks for checking out my latest post.
