Todays missing Topps card is #958, Josias Manzanillo.
Josias first appeared on a Topps card in the 1994 Traded set. He appeared in the 1995 regular set, and that was it as far as cards. Now with his MLB career, that was far from all.
He got into that first game with the Boston Red Sox in 1991. He played for the Milwaukee Brewers in 1993, the New York Mets from the end of 1993 through part of 1995, the New York Yankees for the rest of ‘95, the Seattle Mariners in 1997, back to the Mets for 1999, the Pittsburgh Pirates from 2000-2002, the Cincinnati Reds for 2003, and lastly, the Florida Marlins for 2004. His brother Ravelo Manzanillo also played in MLB in the 1988, 1993, 1994, and 1995 seasons. They were the first pair of brothers to record a Save on the same day in the Majors.
Josias is missing cards from the 1991 Topps Traded, 1993 Topps Traded x2 (Brewers and Mets), 1994 Topps, 1996 Topps, 1997 Topps, 1998 Topps, 1999 Topps Traded, 2000 Topps, 2000 Topps Traded, 2001 Topps, 2002 Topps, 2003 Topps, 2003 Topps Traded, 2004 Topps Traded, and 2005 Topps. The 1991 Traded, 1993 Traded, and 1998 Topps ones have also been covered by myself.
Thanks for checking out my latest post.
